# Helping aspiring school heads get ready to lead

This is the Markdown copy of [Helping aspiring school heads get ready to lead](https://nash.com.ph/about), published by NASH Reviewer, an independent practice platform not affiliated with DepEd, BHROD, or NEAP.

*About NASH Reviewer*

NASH Reviewer is an independent practice platform for Filipino teachers preparing for the National Assessment for School Heads. We turn the professional standards into timed, situational practice that shows you what to study next.

- **5**: Practice sets
- **5**: Free practice sets
- **5**: PPSSH domains covered
- **2 min**: Per question, like a timed exam

## Our mission

Every aspiring school head should walk into the NASH ready to think like a principal.

That means knowing the standards, reasoning through real school situations, and knowing which domains still need work. We build practice for all three, and price it so any teacher can start.

## Why it matters now

The NASH decides who can be appointed School Principal. Preparing well matters more than ever for the teachers who will lead our schools.

1. **A principal for every school**: DepEd is working toward one principal for every school, and wants each school led by a competent, qualified principal.
2. **The assessment is the gate**: Every first appointment to School Principal requires a pass in the DepEd-administered school head assessment, now the NASH.
3. **A deadline for incumbents**: Head Teachers and Assistant School Principals keep priority for School Principal I only until February 24, 2028.

Read the rules, qualification standards, and transition period in the [NASH guide](https://nash.com.ph/nash).

## How we build practice

Recall is not enough for the NASH. Our items ask you to decide what a proficient school head would do, then show you why.

1. **Written against the PPSSH**: Every item is tagged to a domain, strand, and indicator of the Philippine Professional Standards for School Heads.
2. **Scored by depth of thinking**: Each choice carries a SOLO level. A partly right answer earns partial credit and an explanation of what it missed.
3. **Timed practice**: You get two minutes per item, a pace we set because DepEd publishes the NASH’s total time, three hours in FY 2025 Batch 2, but not its number of items. The server keeps the clock, so refreshing the page does not reset it.
4. **Corrected by the people who use it**: Any learner can report a question. Reports go to our review queue, where we fix the item or record why it stands.

See every indicator our items are written against in the [PPSSH guide](https://nash.com.ph/ppssh).

## What we stand for

Aspiring school heads trust us with their preparation. These commitments shape every decision we make.

- **Integrity first**: Every question is an original practice item. We have no access to NASH content, and no review provider does.
- **Honest numbers**: Our practice benchmark asks for 65% of the points and the best answer on at least half the questions, so partial credit alone never reaches it. It is a study target, not an official NASH passing score, and we never present it as one.
- **Free to start, fair to finish**: Free practice sets stay free. Premium never renews automatically, and if you upgrade from a 30-day pass, you pay only the difference.
- **Your data stays yours**: We collect only what we need to run your practice. Deleting your account removes its practice history.

*Your first week*

## Your school is waiting for its principal

Start this week with three small steps. By Sunday, you will know which domains to strengthen before the next NASH.

1. **Create your free account**: It unlocks 5 practice sets and saves every attempt.
2. **Take one timed set**: Choose any domain. Ten questions take up to twenty minutes.
3. **Study your weakest strand**: Your results name it. Practice it again until the score moves.
