For aspiring school heads
The Philippine schools directory for aspiring school heads
TeacherPH Schools, launched on TeacherPH in November 2026, gives every school in DepEd’s public data its own page: enrollment, teachers, classrooms, facilities, and MOOE, set beside the schools around it. Dashboards add up every region, province, city, division, and district. This guide shows how an aspiring school head can use it to study a school.

What the directory holds
Every school in DepEd’s public data has its own page, and every area a dashboard that adds up its schools.
- Public school pages
- Learners by grade and sex; teachers and non-teaching staff by position; classrooms, seats, toilets, faucets, functional computers, electricity, water, and internet; MOOE by fiscal year; the school’s ratios against division, regional, and national medians; and its location and nearest schools.
- Private, SUC or LUC, and overseas school pages
- Learners by grade and sex, with each school ranked by learners among schools of the same sector in its municipality. DepEd’s public report has no staff or facilities data for these schools.
- Area dashboards
- The whole country, each region, province, city or municipality, schools division, and district: learners by level, sector, grade, and sex; schools by sector and curricular offering; public school personnel and resources; MOOE; and a list of every school.
- Search and school IDs
- Search by school name, or go straight to a school with its six-digit DepEd school ID. Lists of every region and schools division, Philippine schools overseas, and school names shared by two or more schools help you browse.
Every figure comes from DepEd’s public school data as of 25 October 2025, for SY 2023-24 and SY 2024-25. Mark Anthony Llego, who also writes the guides on this site, made TeacherPH Schools for TeacherPH; neither site is affiliated with DepEd. Read how the data was checked.
Where school data meets the PPSSH
The PPSSH asks school heads to facilitate “data-driven and evidence-based innovations to improve school performance” (strand 1.4). These six strands lean on the figures a school page shows.
School planning and implementation
The SIP Guidebook has the planning team compare the school’s data with division targets before it ranks priority improvement areas. Start with enrollment by grade over two years and the school’s rank in its division.
Research and innovation
Before you change something, compare the school with public schools of the same kind in its division. The percentile shows whether a figure is unusual there or common.
Records management
Check that DepEd’s public figures match the school’s own records. A school page notes figures that tripped a review rule and has a link to report a correction.
Financial management
MOOE by fiscal year shows what the school received. Where the data allows, the key findings set its MOOE for each learner beside the division median.
School facilities and equipment
Classrooms, seats, toilets, faucets, and functional computers, each against the number of learners, plus electricity, water, and internet access.
Management of staff
Teachers by position and learners per teacher, against division, regional, and national medians, show where teaching loads may be heavy.
The NASH is aligned with the five PPSSH domains, and these strands belong to the first two. Read each one in the PPSSH guide, see how a school plan uses data in the SIP policy review, and practice judging situations like these in the free practice sets.
How to read a school’s figures
A ratio means little alone. TeacherPH Schools sets each public school beside schools of the same kind in its division.
| Ratio | How it is worked out |
|---|---|
| Learners per teacher | Learners divided by teachers |
| Learners per classroom | Learners divided by instructional rooms |
| Learners per seat | Learners divided by seats |
| Learners per toilet | Learners divided by toilets |
| Learners per computer | Learners divided by functional computers |
- Median
- The middle value among public schools in the same division, school year, and grades offered, such as elementary only: half have fewer learners per resource and half have more.
- Percentile
- The share of those schools with as many learners per resource or fewer. At 90%, nine in ten have the same or fewer, so the school is more crowded than most.
- Not reported
- A missing value reads “Not reported” and is never shown as zero. When a school records no teachers or rooms, its ratio reads “Not reported” too, not 0.
- Change from last year
- Figures for SY 2024-25 show the change from SY 2023-24. Where an area’s boundaries changed between the two years, no change is shown.
Ratios are shown to one decimal place. A school alone in its comparison group has no percentile. Private, SUC or LUC, and overseas schools are ranked by learners instead.
Study a school in five steps
Use the same routine for the school you lead now, a school you may be assigned to, or a case in your review.
Find the school
Search by school name, or open www.teacherph.com/schools/id/ followed by its six-digit school ID. When other schools share its name, the page links to all of them.
Read the summary and key findings
They give the enrollment change, the school’s rank in its division, learners per teacher and per classroom, and MOOE, one sentence each.
Compare it with its division
In “How it compares,” look for ratios with a high percentile: those resources are stretched more than at most similar schools.
Step out to the district and division
The area dashboards show whether a problem is the school’s alone or shared by its neighbors. “Nearest schools” lists the schools closest to it.
Check the figures with the school
The latest figures are for SY 2024-25. Confirm each one with the school’s own records before you build a plan on it.
What the data leaves out
TeacherPH Schools shows DepEd’s figures as DepEd reports them, with notes where they look doubtful.
- Staff and facilities data covers public schools only; other schools show enrollment.
- The latest school year is SY 2024-25, from DepEd’s data as of 25 October 2025.
- Alternative Learning System (ALS) community learning centers have no page of their own; their learners count in the area dashboards.
- Seat counts are approximate, and a school’s map appears only when its location passed review.
- A note under “About this data” means a figure deserves a second look, not that it is wrong.
- When a mistake is in DepEd’s data, only DepEd can correct it at the source.
Common questions
Short answers about the directory and its data. Its About the data page has the full methods.
A free directory of the schools in the Department of Education’s public data, at www.teacherph.com/schools. Each school has a page with its learners and, for public schools, its teachers, classrooms, facilities, and MOOE. Dashboards add up every region, province, city or municipality, schools division, and district.
No. Every page is free to read, with no account and no sign-in.
From DepEd’s public school data report, as refreshed on 25 October 2025, for SY 2023-24 and SY 2024-25. Learner totals match DepEd’s own control totals, and the directory’s About the data page explains how every figure was checked.
Open www.teacherph.com/schools/id/ followed by the six-digit DepEd school ID, such as www.teacherph.com/schools/id/100000. It takes you to the school’s page, whose address also ends in the ID.
DepEd’s public report has staff and facilities data for public schools only. Pages for private, SUC or LUC, and overseas schools show enrollment, and rank each school by learners among schools of the same sector in its municipality.
Use them to see trends and to compare a school with its division. A plan should rest on the school’s own current records, so check each figure against them and name DepEd’s data as the source.
Use “Report a correction” on the school’s page, with the school ID, the figure, and what you expect it to be. When the mistake is in DepEd’s data, only DepEd can correct it at the source.
No. Mark Anthony Llego, who also writes the guides on NASH Reviewer, made it for TeacherPH. Neither site is affiliated with DepEd.
